Georgia QB JT Daniels has recently been busy making sponsorship deals to capitalize on new name, image and likeness deals in college sports.

Zaxby’s announced their partnership with Daniels in a press release, and said Daniels is the first NCAA college athlete to partner with Athens-based Zaxby’s and will serve as a brand ambassador for the 2021 season- 2022.

Daniels will make appearances at corporate and philanthropic events, as well as in advertisements. Daniels will also share Zaxby branded content from his personal social media accounts.

“We are delighted to partner with University of Georgia quarterback Heisman JT Daniels for the upcoming season,” said Zaxby Marketing Director Joel Bulger. “His leadership qualities on and off the pitch are remarkable and fit our brand well. We welcome JT to Team Zaxby’s, a brand that has strong ties to UGA and deep roots here in Athens.

Zaxby’s news came a day after Daniels allegedly signed an exclusive 6-month deal with a NIL trading card that pays him $ 100 per signature, Darren Rovell of The Action Network reported. The ESM, which replaces it, says that with 50% royalty on signed and unsigned cards, it could reach 7 digits. He plans to share half of his earnings with his teammates.
