A London resident is recognized by McDonald’s Canada as “Outstanding Manager of the Year” – an honor bestowed on the top 10 percent of managers across the country.
Lena Brown, Manager of McDonald’s Restaurant in London, has been recognized as one of the Most Successful Managers at more than 1,400 locations across Canada.
âI never expected this honor, but I am very grateful to receive this award which recognizes my efforts to make McDonald’s a special place for my team and my guests,â said Brown. âI focus on my crew because that’s how we deliver a superior customer experience. I appreciate that McDonald’s recognizes all the hard work of its team every day.
A press release from McDonald’s Canada says that every day Brown works diligently with his team members to serve people’s meals with above and beyond service and warm smiles.
The company says Brown has also been instrumental in marketing and catering operations that have positively impacted employees and guests.
Brown has worked with the franchise for 17 years, starting as a member of the service team before being promoted to Director in 2006 and General Manager in 2013.
âLena’s strongest attribute is how much she cares about everyone who works with her and the same goes for our guests,â said Jason Lessif, owner and operator of London. âLena is always on the lookout for ways to improve the business and the results she gets from being a great leader are undeniably impressive. So proud of Lena and her team.
