However, it’s always cool when restaurant chains come here and open their doors in western New York.
The most famous recent example is the opening of Chick-fil-A on Walden Avenue in Cheektowaga a few years ago, and was soon followed by another location at the corner of Transit and Losson Road across from the Wegmans in Cheektowaga.
Get ready for another restaurant chain coming to northern cities soon, and it’s one of the fastest growing chains in America.
Buffalo Business First reports that BB.Q Chicken is opening a store in Amherst, NY. It will be at 1400 Millersport Highway, inside the Triad Apartment building.
BB.Q Chicken was founded in the mid-1990s and has over 4,100 locations worldwide, with over 100 locations in development here in the United States. They serve Korean barbecue and many variations of fried chicken. They also serve dishes like fried rice and fried dumplings.
This new location will be very close to UB’s North Campus and will most likely be a very popular spot for students wishing to eat when it opens.
This kind of food is fine for me, so I’m pretty excited about it.
