Restaurant manager among 3 accused of armed robbery in McDonald’s Suffolk


SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Police have arrested several women in connection with an armed robbery at a McDonald’s in the Suffolk area, including the restaurant manager.

City officials said in a press release Latrivia Yvette Holmes, 38, of Portsmouth, and Latesha Monique Holmes, 40, of Chesapeake, were arrested on Friday.

They then announced on Tuesday that Ebonie Michelle Blount, 33, had been charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit theft and conspiracy to commit a felony.

McDonald’s manager Latrivia Holmes is charged with robbery, two counts of embezzlement, conspiracy to commit a felony, misrepresentation during an investigation and false police report.

Officials says the theft took place in the early morning of Friday. A preliminary investigation revealed that a suspect armed with a knife forced his way inside and robbed the fast food restaurant when it opened.

Latesha Holmes is charged with two counts of robbery and robbery. The suspects are being held without bond at Western Tidewater Regional Jail.
