State Relaunches Hawaii Restaurant Card to Support Restaurants, Food Supply Industry and Their Employees

HONOLULU (KHON2) – The State has relaunched the Hawaii Restaurant Card (HRC) Holiday Card to support the restaurant and food supply chain industry and their employees.

According to officials, companies can now order these HRC business holiday cards until Friday, December 10. Cards will be available for amounts of $ 25, $ 50 and $ 100; they will be sent directly to companies.

Companies that receive HRC Business Vacation Cards can give them to their employees. These pre-loaded debit cards can be used at all restaurants, eateries, taverns, fast food outlets, and bars in Hawaii that accept Debit MasterCard and will be valid until June 30, 2022.

“Last year the Hawaii Restaurant Card Program has resulted in more than $ 75 million in direct impact on our local food supply chain – including restaurants, farmers, fishermen, ranchers, producers and distributors – all of whom have benefited from this stimulus initiative economic statewide. Today, I hope businesses will consider purchasing Hawaii Restaurant Cards for their holiday gifts. This will ensure that our money stays in the islands and benefits our local community. “

For orders placed and received before November 26, companies will receive their cards by December 10. For orders received between November 26 and December 10, cards will be delivered by December 31.
