Theft charges dismissed against restaurant manager Trumbull

TRUMBULL, CT — Charges against West Haven Mayor Nancy Rossi’s son have been dismissed in an embezzlement case involving restaurants in Stratford and Trumbull, according to the Connecticut Post.

The Post reports that Stephen Rossi successfully completed a probation program before trial, which resulted in the dismissal of charges of theft and impersonation that were pending against him.

Rossi was accused of embezzling more than $80,000 while working as a manager of Sitting Duck restaurants in Stratford and Trumbull.

Rossi, who agreed to return the money, pleaded not guilty and was granted an expedited pardon in November 2019, the Post previously reported.
