The Hero Brands-owned gourmet kebab chain has said it is set to deliver on its pledge to open 47 new restaurants in the UK in 2021.

New locations include Basingstoke, Barkingside, Bicester, Manchester Oxford Rd, Tottenham Hale, Willesden Green, Hammersmith, Sunderland, Greenford, Burton Upon Trent, Stirling and Meadowhall Sheffield.

The brand has already opened four restaurants in December.

CEO Imran Sayeed said Germany’s Doner Kebab’s growth strategy for 2022 will be announced shortly.

Following the success of its London restaurants Bloomsbury and Berlin over the past two years, the brand is moving forward with plans to open restaurants in London High Holborn in the first quarter of next year, in Glasgow in the second quarter, as well as in Edinburgh, Manchester, Oxford, Birmingham. and Cambridge will follow later in the year with more locations to be announced.
